James Revis Pressley

James Revis Pressley, 77, of 544 Norman Drive, died Thursday, September 6, 2007. Born in LaFrance, he was the son of the late Luther David Pressley and Viola Nimmons Pressley. Mr. Pressley retired from Piedmont Plush Mill and K & M Textiles. He was a member of Berea First Baptist Church. His home church was West Greenville Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Carol Harris and husband Rocky; four grandchildren, Trey Harris and wife Jill, Stefani Sternett and husband Scott, John Harris and wife Amy, and David Harris and wife Chrissy; nine great-grandchildren, Roger, Carter, AnnaKate, Dylan, Kennedy, Taylor Grace, Elizabeth, Sarah, and Jonathan; a sister, Emma Lou Sloan and husband Fred; extended family, Milford Mote, Earl Cowles, Charlotte Crocker, and Patsy Crocker; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Alice Pressley; a brother, Harold Pressley; and a sister, Linda Mote. Visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 ? 8:00 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Services will be Sunday at 3:00 pm at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Ronald D. Vaughn officiating. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, West. Memorials may be made to Berea First Baptist Church, Pass It On Campaign, 529 Farrs Bridge Road, Greenville, SC 29611. The family is at the home of Carol Harris.
