James Willard Vaughn

James Willard Vaughn, 88, of 2920 State Park Road, died Friday, July 29, 2005 at his home. Born in Greenville, Mr. Vaughn was the widower of Mildred Greer Vaughn and the son of the late Earnest and Lillian Smith Vaughn. He was retired as a cotton broker in the textile industry and a member of Pebble Creek Baptist Church. He is survived by two sisters, Docia Jones of Tennessee and Gennelle Ewell of Greer, SC; two sisters-in-law, Sara Vaughn of Greer, SC and Vera Mason and her husband, Larry of Greenville. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 1, 2005 at the chapel at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:30 to 2:45 on Monday prior to the service. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Garden in Greer, SC. The family will be at 9 W. Mountain View.
