Jane Catherine Holt Conway

Jane Holt Conway, 68, died the morning of September 26, 2005. She was born in South Orange, N.J., but has lived in Greenville for many years. A beloved wife, mother and nana to her family who will miss her very much. Jane is survived by her husband, William Conway; her three daughters, Deborah Schmidt and her husband Craig, Christine Basque and her husband Gary, and Jane Stumbris and her husband Christopher; and her wonderful grandchildren, Michael and Ryan Basque and Dylan and Kevin Stumbris. Jane is also survived by her siblings Bill Holt and his wife Kelly, Tom Holt and his wife Carolyn, Bonnie Hyers and her husband Leon, Christopher Holt and his wife Linda, as well as cousins Fran Holt and Jean and Dave Anderson. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and many, many wonderful friends. Jane was predeceased by her long time friend, Dward. Jane loved life- enjoying her art, the beach, golf, music- and especially spending time with Billy. She shot a holt-in-one in 2003. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to: Upstate Visual Arts Association, Jane Conway Memorial Fund, PO Box 10873, Greenville, SC 29603. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, September 29, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Following the service the family will receive friends in Croghan Hall.
