It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jane Ellen Walsh at the age of 75 in Simpsonville, SC. Jane was born on May 2, 1949, in Boston, MA, and touched the lives of many during her time on this earth.

Having dedicated her life to education, Jane worked as a Special Education High School teacher, positively impacting the lives of countless students. Her passion for helping others and her unwavering commitment to her profession were truly inspiring.

Jane’s memory will forever be cherished by her loving family: her devoted husband, Stephen Walsh; three children, Kristin Balshuweit, Paul Walsh-Bronik, and David Walsh; six grandchildren; and two brothers, Larry Abrams and Robert Abrams.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Alan Abrams.

In this time of loss and mourning, let us remember Jane for the kindness, dedication, and love she shared with all who knew her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the eternal love of her family.

Sincere condolences to Stephen and family on the loss of Janie. I remember her as a lovely bride some fifty years ago and during many family events over the years where she would greet everyone with a warm smile and caring words. May her memory be a blessing.

My deepest sympathy to Steven and his family. We were neighbors in Naperville and Jane’s smile and laugh will be remembered as well as her love for her family. I send wishes for peace and comfort.

Janie was one of my dearest friends who was so loving and kind to all who knew her. Losing her very slowly during her long Alzheimer’s battle was so difficult for her family and friends, especially Stephen, who took such wonderful care of her. I may share some stories later.

Rest in peace Mrs. Jane I loved seeing your beautiful smile every single morning.😊 It truly made my day. I loved the time we spent together everyday. Watching your favorite tv shows, listening to music and of course dancing watching your feet move to the beat. Love you always ❤️ Tausha

I have such fond memories growing up next door to Janie. She was a loving caring person with a great smile. My sincerest condolences to the families. May time help you deal with this void in your lives😢❤️

Please know of my sympathy for Jane and all the family. My memories go back to UMASS Amherst. She was always smiling and a joy to be around. Peace.

Jane and I lived on the same floor at Southwest college at UMass/Amherst. We were part of a wonderful group of friends and we all became very close. Jane was our musical leader, playing her guitar (named Gregory) and trying her best to get us all to sing in harmony. It was not an easy feat. Jane is unforgettable. She will be in my heart forever. My condolences to her family and all who knew her. ❤️
