Jane Whitaker Wade

Jane Whitaker Wade, 71, of 21 Ivy Trail, wife of Jackie F. Wade, died Sunday, May 11, 2008 at St. Francis, Eastside. Born in Ila, GA she was the daughter of the late Rowe and Dierdrea Gould Whitaker. Mrs. Wade was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Deborah Kim Billingslea of Colorado Springs, CO, Dana Karol Turner of Littleton, CO; a son, Stephen Tucker Wade of Henderson, CO; ten grandchildren; three great grandsons; and four brothers, Dr. David Whitaker of Toccoa, GA, Walter Whitaker of Raleigh, NC, Keith Whitaker of Cherryville, NC and Alan Whitaker of Durham, NC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Kathryn Harris. The funeral service will, be held Saturday, May 17, 2008 in San Augustine, Texas.
