Janice Elaine Murray

Janice Elaine Murray, 52, of 2787 S. Old Highway 14, died Monday, February 25, 2008. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of James Murray, step-mother, Doris Murray and mother, Sara Armstead Compton. Ms. Murray was employed with Honeywell and of the Baptist faith. Surviving, as well as her parents, are her former husband, Johnathan David King, Sr.; two sons, Johnathan David King, Jr. of Greer and Daniel Matthew King and his wife, Amanda, of Easley; a sister, Joyce Baden-Nuttall and her husband, John, of Marietta, GA; two brothers, James F. Murray of Acworth, GA, and Jerald Wayne Murray and his wife, Cindy, of Simpsonville; three grandchildren, Steven, Brandon and Alexis King. She was predeceased by two daughters, Clara Salisa King and Sara Lynn King. The family would like to thank Dr. Mark A. O'Rouke and his staff at Cancer Centers of the Carolina. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 27, 2008 from 6:00 – 7:30 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.
The funeral service will be Thursday, February 28, 2008 at 3:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, West. Memorials may be made to the Greenville County Cancer Society, 113 Mills Avenue, Greenville, SC 29605.
The family will be at their respective homes.
