Janice Long Dean, 67, beloved wife of 45 years to the late Glenn W. Dean Jr., went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 18, 2021.
Born in Greenville, SC, she was a daughter of the late James and Willie Mae Black Long.
Mrs. Dean was a devoted wife, mother and nana whom loved her family very much, who were the sunshines of her life. She was a member of Piedmont Park Baptist Church and shared the love of God with others.
Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her daughters, Jaime (Craig) Lowe, and Lisa (Ricky) Thompson; grandchildren, Robbie Thompson, Justin Smith, Blake (Tiffany) Lowe, and Briana (Bradley) McGaha; sister, Linda (Paul) Hunter; mother-in-law, Ida Mae Dean; brother-in-law, Terry Dean Sr.; and sister-in-law, Tammy Swiger.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 22, 2021, from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Downtown. The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. at Piedmont Park Baptist Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The family will be at the residence.
