Jerry L. Gault, 61, of 713 Davenport Rd, Simpsonville died Friday, May 26, 2006 at Hillcrest Hospital. Prior to moving to Simpsonville, he was a 16 year resident of Portland, Maine. Born is Laurens County, he was a son of Carrie Stoddard Gault of Simpsonville and the late Joseph Knight Gault. He was a graduate of Hillcrest High School Class of 1963, the National School of Aeronautics and Southern Maine Vocational Tech. Mr. Gault was with ADT Security Systems as a lead installer with 20 years of service. He was also a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Mr. Gault served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Beatrice ?Bea? Gault; son Neil Gault of Simpsonville; brother, Mike Gault of Simpsonville; and granddaughter, Madelynn Alexandra Gault. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 Noon on Tuesday at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, with visitation prior from 10:30 until 11:45 am at the church. The Rite of Committal will be held at a later date in New Calvary Cemetery in South Portland, Maine. Memorials may be made to the VA Outpatient Clinic, 3510 Augusta Rd., Greenville, SC 29605. The family is at the residence 713 Davenport Rd., Simpsonville, SC 29680.
