I want to share my deepest sympathy and condolences to the Murdock family on the passing of Jerry. Over the years, I have been privileged to work with Jerry as a supplier, a customer and an employee. Later, our relationship developed into friendship and he as a mentor. Jerry taught me so much about managing a business, leadership and attention to detail. I will always remember our conversations and his advise. I will always cherish them. During this difficult time I wish the family peace and comfort and I know you are all surrounded by love. With our deepest sympathy, The Cobb Family. Jeff and Michelle Cobb

Valerie Conforti left a message on March 4, 2024:
I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Murdock on my first day of employment with IPS Packaging in November, 2018. On our chance encounter in the break room, he took the time to speak with me and we discovered that he had spent some time in New Jersey earlier in his career. I only spoke with Mr. Murdock a few times over the years on my trips to the corporate office, but he made an impression on me that very first day that I will never forget. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Joan, Kendra, Kevin, Derrick, and Brad (and your families) Jerry and all of you have always gone out of your way to make me feel like an honorary Murdock over the years!!!! I can remember your annual visits up north when I was a kid and when I moved to South Carolina after I graduated college......first to Myrtle Beach and later Charleston......you were the true definition of southern hospitality in a state where I initially knew no one else!!!! I will always remember all of our Litchfield Beach adventures and the many in Charleston as well......particularly when my mom and other family would come down here to visit. It always involved breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner, ice cream, or the like and a chance to explore this city as if I were a tourist in a place where I've now lived for almost half of of my life!!!! My sincerest thoughts, prayers, and condolences to all of you and Jerry's friends and family, and all those whose lives he helped make better!!!! He was always on the go so I am glad that his spirit is able to be free again and that he is no longer in any pain!!!!
