Jo Ann Mize Ward

Jo Ann Mize Ward, 66, of 42 Montis Dr., Greenville died Saturday March 18, 2006 at Oakmont East Nursing Center. Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Jolly S. Mize and Evelyn McAlister Coster. Prior to her retirement, she held a position in accounting with General Siding Inc. and Ward Electrical Inc. and was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter #123. Mrs. Ward was a member of Leawood Baptist Church and attended Buncombe Rd. Baptist Church. She was a loving grandmother who loved the Lord. Surviving are her husband of 48 years, Brady E. Ward, Jr. of the home; two sons, J. Morris Ward of Dacusville and David E. Ward and wife Cheryl of Greenville; sister, Naney M. Hunter of Taylors; brother, Gary L. Coster of Greer; two grandchildren, Morgan L. and Brady G. Ward; and a special family friend, Rebecca Phillips. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown Chapel, with visitation prior from 11:30 am until 1:15 pm. Interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer?s Association, 301 University Square, Greenville, SC 29601. The family is at the residence, 42 Montis Dr., Greenville, SC 29617.
