Joan Ellen Gramelspacher O?Connor, 70, widow of John Paul O?Connor II, died Thursday, November 29, 2007. Born in Salt Lake City, UT, she was the daughter of the late Edwin F. and Mary Ellen Lerch Gramelspacher. Mrs. O?Connor was a retired telephone operator with Teltek and was a Catholic. Surviving are a daughter, Dianne Crowley and husband Duane of Greenville, two grandsons, Stephen M. Almasy of Greenville and John Paul O?Connor IV of Greer; and two granddaughters, Jessica Marie O?Connor and Tedi Godfrey, both of Greer. She was preceded in death by two sons, Michael and Daniel Almasy. Memorials may be made to St. Mary?s Catholic Church, 111 Hampton Ave., Greenville, SC 29601. The funeral mass will be held at St. Mary?s Catholic Church on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at Noon.
