Joan Marian Tollison

Joan Marian Tollison, 58, of 216 Roper Road, was carried home to Heaven on Tuesday, October 28, 2008.
Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late George E. and Ethel Hicks Kelley.
Mrs. Tollison was retired from Kemet Electronics Corporation. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and was loved by so many. Surviving are her husband, Luther Tollison; four children, Adrian Sloan of Anderson, Eddie Tollison and his wife, Dawn, of Piedmont, Vincent Sloan and his wife, April, of Piedmont and Jennifer Henry of Piedmont; four sisters, Janice Sullivan, her twin sister to whom she was very close, and her husband, Allen, of Townville, Ethelene Tollison and her husband, Jack, of Piedmont, Shirley Sprague and her husband, Earl, of Piedmont, Jewell Laymen and her husband, Bill, of Liberty; seven grandchildren, Brittany Rolfson, Trey Tollison, Issac Sloan, Lexie Tollison, Olivia Sloan, Gavin Tollison, Chelsey Henry; one great grandson, Brett Rolfson; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Christopher Tollison; grandchild, Candita Tollison; a son-in-law, Timothy Henry; sister and brother-in-law, Eva and Harold Walker. Visitation will be Thursday, October 30, 2008 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.
The funeral service will be Friday, October 31, 2008 at 1:30 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenville Memorial Gardens in Piedmont. The family will be located at the residence.
