Joe Davis Bayne, 67, loving husband of Clara Shockley Bayne, died Thursday, October 16, 2008.
Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Sherman L. and Irene A. Bayne.
Mr. Bayne was self-employed, a graduate of Parker High School and a dedicated member of Truth Missionary Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife of forty-seven years, are daughter, Irene B. Alberson; two sons, S. Tim Bayne and his wife, Melissa, of Easley, Darren D. Bayne of Pratt, KS; a sister, Carol B. Bishop and husband, Dee, of Easley; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a brother, Calvin L. Bayne; and son-in-law, Vick Alberson.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 19, 2008 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.
The funeral service will be Monday, October 20, 2008 at 12:00 pm at Truth Missionary Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
