John Bennette Robinson

John Bennett Robinson, 73, of 102 N. Franklin Road, the husband of Mary Stewart-Robinson, died Monday May 24, 2004 at St. Francis Hospital. He was the son of the late John Phillip and Annette Hill Robinson. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of Beulah Holiness Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife are a stepson, Danny Stewart of the home and a brother, William B. Robinson of Greenville. He was predeceased by a sister, Bess R. Harrison, twin brother, Harold A. Robinson, 3 other brothers, Wayne, Julius and J. P. Robinson and a step-son, George Edward Stewart. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2004, from 9:30 AM until 10:15 AM. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown Chapel. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery, West.
