John Carl Leidy

John Carl Leidy, 71, died Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at his residence. Born in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was the son of the late Warren and Myrtle Moyer Leidy. Mr. Leidy was retired from Hoescht-Celanese and a member of Providence Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Pat Leidy of Easley, three daughters, Judy Lutz of Easley, Tammy Kozic and husband John of Travelers Rest, Lorie Stouthamer and husband Steve of Cary, NC; a son, John Leidy and wife Diana of Milford, NJ; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a brother, Barry Leidy of Easton, PA; and two sisters, Mary Lu Hockman of Phillipsburg, NJ, and Dorothy Dowlen of Milford, NJ. Memorials may be made to Providence Presbyterian Church, 4000 Highway 153, Greenville, SC 29611. Visitation will be on Friday, January 25, 2008 from 2:00 to 2:45 p.m. at Providence Presbyterian Church. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. Burial will follow at Robinson Memorial Gardens.
