John Dewey Langley, 49, of Greenville, died Saturday, August 11, 2007. Born in Greenville, he was the son of Doris Bridges Langley and the late Amon Tilferd Langley. Mr. Langley was a member of Marathon Community Church. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are two sisters and a brother-in-law, Becky and Gerry Dietz of Greenville, Carol Sanders of Piedmont; a brother, Amon ?Mac? Tilferd Langley, Jr. of Greenville; and a niece, Christy Sanders. Memorials may be made to Marathon Community Church Youth Building Fund, 315 Roe Road, Greenville, SC 29611. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 18, 2007 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the downtown chapel with burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the home of a sister, Becky Dietz.
