John Forman Miller, 84, of 896 McElhaney Road, Travelers Rest, died January 5, 2007. Born in Webster County, WV, he was a son of the late John W. and Rose Miller Miller. He and his wife, Christine Stockton Miller, were married 60 years. Mr. Miller served in the United States Army. He was employed 38 years by Steel Heddle Corporation. Mr. Miller also worked part time for 27 years at Furman Golf Course. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Gail Clover and her husband Brian, and a son, Willie Miller and his wife Gayle, all of Greenville; a sister, Aghtha Shaver, of Baltimore, MD; a granddaughter, Dana Pittman and her husband, John Paul, and a grandson, John Frady, all of Travelers Rest, and four great-grandchildren, Dalton, Bailey, Ashton and Missy. Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 pm today at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Travelers Rest. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:30 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The family is at the residence.
