Kathie and family. I remember John so well on his visits to GOR. He was always so full of fun and life, no matter his circumstances. I hope you all saved a picture of his “used medical devices that had been used on him” to decorate his Christmas Tree. Thank our Lord for His sacrifice offering us eternal life because his earthly life is over but His eternal life has just begun. Will be uplifted you all in the days ahead. Remember his smiles and laughter my friend.

I met Stan at USC. We were both freshmans at the time. We had a group of friends we all did things together. He was the jokester of the group and he had us in stitches most of the time. He was such a sweet caring person. Dale Hugggins had kept intouch with Stan since college and kept me up to date with him. We just sent him a picture of us both together and Stan replied. I wish it could have been in person us all together again. My memories will always hold a special place for him. Gone to soon....?

I only met Stan after I moved back to Greenville in 2016, but both my wife and I became friends with him. He was naturally funny and easy to talk with. But more than anything else, I was always amazed at how he stayed in good spirits despite constant physical suffering. I truly miss him.
Jared Edge left a message on June 25, 2022:
...I only knew Stan for maybe almost 4 years. He became my buddy, and I already miss him dearly. I only wish I could have had the honor to have gotten to spend more time with him.
