John William Mahon

July 27, 1934 - August 5, 2008
John William Mahon, 74, of 32 Maxie Avenue, Greenville, died Tuesday, August 5, 2008.
Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late John Mr. Mahon was a veteran of the US Navy, retired machine operator for Albany International, and a member of Providence Baptist Church.
Surviving is his wife, Roxie Pruitt Mahon; three daughters, Diane Hindman, Ocilla, GA, Sissy Bishop and husband Pooh Vaughn, Greer, and Kathy Burnett and husband Mike, Dacusville; two sons, Mike Mahon and wife Wanda, Piedmont, and Billy Mahon, Greenville; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Johnny Mahon, and a daughter, Rita Fay Mahon.
The graveside service will be Monday, August 11, 2008 at 3:00 pm at Graceland Cemetery West. The family will be at the residence.
