Jonathan Mark Young, 56, of 216 Briarcliff Drive, died Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at Greenville Memorial Medical Center. Born in Greenville, he was a son of Katherine Fuller Soule Young of Greenville and the late David Paul Young, Sr. Mr. Young was employed with Young Family Homes, Inc. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are nine sisters, Debby Caldwell and her husband Neil of Taylors, Rachel Morgan and her husband Jim of Matoaca, VA., Becky Thompson of Greenville, Sarah Jones and her husband Nathan of Taylors, Lois Young of Taylors, Joanna Davis and her husband Steve of Wallace, NC., Priscilla Marsceau and her husband Dan of Greer, Lydia Shirley and her husband Bill of Taylors, Phebe Satterfield and her husband James of Gray Court; four brothers, Tom Young and his wife Pat of Gray Court, Stephen Young and his wife Wende of Greer, Phillip Young and his wife Missy of Woodruff, David Young, Jr. and his wife Gayla of Greer; forty-nine nieces and nephews; twenty-seven great nieces and nephews; two aunts; five uncles; and thirty-four cousins and their families. In lieu of flowers, Mark requested that you give a gift to someone in need. Visitation will be held Friday, January 12, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 13, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church, Taylors. Burial will follow in Westview Memorial Park, Laurens. Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near; Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
