Jourdan Marie Bryant Dobson, 34, of Greenville, SC, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024.
Born in Greenville, SC on March 9, 1990, she was a daughter of Belinda Jolly Dobson Wall and the late Robert A. Dobson, IV.
Jourdan was intelligent and excelled in college earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing and communications from the University of South Carolina Upstate in 2012. Her career in the restaurant industry as a marketing professional allowed Jourdan to live in several states and travel extensively throughout the southern US. She was an industry leader and demonstrated a strong work ethic and passion for excellence.
Jourdan was known for her compassionate and caring nature, always putting others before herself. She was a loving soul who had a special place in her heart for animals and children, often volunteering her time to help those in need. Her kindness and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her.
Besides her French Bulldog, Zeus Capone, Jourdan leaves behind a host of family and friends including her mother and step-father, Belinda Dobson Wall and Alexander Keith Wall of La Mesa, CA; a sister, Lauren Priscilla Dobson of Greenville and Priscilla’s daughter, Alexandria; five uncles, William Dobson (Lynne) of Boone, NC, Daniel Dobson (Elizabeth) of Greenville, Jonathan Dobson (Shannon) of Greenville, Andrew Dobson (Sarah) of Greer, and Thomas James Dobson(Olivia) of Greer; two aunts, Donna Lees Jolly of Greenville, Annemarie Dobson of Greenville; ten cousins, Colleen, Douglas, Jessica, Alex, Ellen, Ashley, Dana, Megan, Lyla and Oaklynn.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert “Rad” Albertus Dobson, V.
A graveside service for family and close friends will be held Friday, March 29, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
