Juanita Lamar Reeves Stovall, 93, beloved wife of 54 years to the late Berry Benson Stovall, Jr., entered eternal rest on Friday, September 24, 2021 while surrounded by her family.
Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late William Edgar and Carles Folson (Hipps) Reeves. Juanita worked at J.P. Stevens in the textile industry for 43 years. After her retirement, she worked part-time at Costco.
Mrs. Stovall was a charter member of Oak Crest Baptist Church where she was previously involved in the Mornings Missionary Group, the choir, and the Willing Workers Sunday School class.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Christenbury and her husband Tony of Gaffney; a grandson, Kyle Lockee of Taylors; a granddaughter, Summer Holden of Gaffney; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her infant son, Dennis Randall Stovall, three sisters and a brother.
The graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 1, 2021 at Graceland Cemetery West. There will be no public visitation or viewing.
