Julia Bell Singleton

January 22, 1909 - October 11, 2005
Julia Bell Singleton, 96, widow of Retired Colonel Clifton E. Singleton, died Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at Summit Place. Born in Franklin, TN., she was the daughter of the late John Marshall and Julia DaJonett Jones Billington. Mrs. Singleton was a homemaker and was a member of Pendleton Street Baptist Church. Surviving are three daughters, Frances Wanda Harrison of Greenville, Norma S. Hardy of Pelzer, Clifford S. Davis of Greenville; nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and four great great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Reina Johnson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Legion Post #3, 430 N. Main Street, Greenville, SC 29601. Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, October 13, 2005 at 1:30 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will follow at the graveside. The family will be at 210 E. Cranberry Lane.
