Kathleen Kathy Ashworth Murray, 85, of 600 Hunts Bridge Road, and widow of Joseph H. Murray, died October 24, 2008 at the home following a lengthy illness. Born in Elberton, GA, she was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a retired employee with Hamady Brothers of Flint, Michigan and was of the Baptist faith. The Graveside Service will be held Monday, October 27, 2008 at 3:00 pm at Graceland East Memorial Park. Visitation will be prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the cemetery. Officiating at the service will be the Reverend Vollie Gibbs and the Reverend Howard Foster. Kathy was most appreciative to her loving caregivers, Gary Cason and Virginia Heaton and to Anita Graham and Angie Johnson of McCall Hospice House. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McCall Hospice House, 1836 W. Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680.
