L. David Tillotson

Loyd David Tillotson, 64, 117 Sunderland Drive, died Sunday, January 6, 2008. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Troy and Nancy Moore Tillotson, and the husband of Rita Childers Tillotson. Mr. Tillotson was a retired assistant plant engineer in the automotive division of J.P. Stevens/Collins-Aikman. He was a member of Berea First Baptist Church. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two daughters, Tammy Bobo and husband, Robert, of Pickens and Sherry Johnson and husband, George, of Powdersville; four grandchildren, Abby Thompson, Bryan Johnson, Bradley Johnson and Hank Bobo; a sister, Pat Eudy and husband, Joe Lee, of Fountain Inn; two brothers, Ben Tillotson and wife, Lilia, of Greer, and Don Tillotson and wife, Diane, of Moncks Corner, and a sister-in-law, Gwen Tillotson, of Williamston. He was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth Tillotson. The funeral service will be Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at 12:00 noon at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel. Visitation will be Monday, January 7, 2008 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621. The family is at the residence.
