Larry Joe Green, 60, of 202 Murphy Lane, husband of Carolyn Robertson Green, died Friday, February 8, 2008. Born in Greenville, he was the son of Sue Harvey Green of Mauldin and the late J.B. Green. Mr. Green was co-owner of J.B. Green Trucking Company and attended Brookwood Church. Surviving, in addition to his wife and mother, are two daughters, Cindy Green of Mauldin, Susan Green Schoening and her husband, Klaus, of Maudlin; five granddaughters, Jessi Curtis, Karson Childers, Ashton, Lauren and Hannah Schoening; two grandsons, Nick "Bubba" Curtis and Dieter Schoening; a sister, Brenda Gardo and her husband, Guy, of Maudlin; and a brother, Ted Green and his wife, Vicki, of Mauldin. Memorials may be made to Open Arms Hospice, 1836 W. Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29681. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 10, 2008 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the home of his mother, 399 Fowler Circle, Mauldin.
