Lavinia Sherrill Duncan

Lavinia Sherrill Duncan, 85, died Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at Summit Place Living Center. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Dillard and Birdie Scalf Sherrill. Mrs. Duncan was a retired textile worker and was a member of Forestville Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Stewart Rivers of Greenville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby Joe and Bobbie Duncan of Travelers Rest, William B. and Joyce Duncan of Greenville; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 1, 2006 at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Visitation will be held prior to the services from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 am. Burial will be in Forestville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be at 802 Heritage Club Drive, Greenville.
