Leo Larry Terry

August 6, 1936 - April 2, 2008
Leo Larry Terry, 71, of Travelers Rest, died Wednesday, April 2, 2008. Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late Vena Pierce and Harry C. Terry and the husband of the late Peggy H. Terry. Mr. Terry was a retired manager at Tungsten Industries and was of the Baptist Faith. He was a member of the Taylors Masonic Lodge No. 345 and the Hejaz Shrine Temple. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Wendy Terry of Greer; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a sister, Evelyn Crawford of Taylors; and a brother Russell Terry of Lyman. He was preceded in death by a brother, Clifford Terry. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 3, 2008 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will be held Friday, April 4, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. in the Downtown Chapel. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
