Leonard Lee Hatcher, 82, of 216 Courtney Circle, died Monday, November 17, 2008 at McCall Hospice House. Born in Greer, he was the son of the late Luther Lee Hatcher and Bessie Campbell Hatcher. Mr. Hatcher served in the US Navy during WWII. He was the owner of Hatcher Roofing & Maintenance. He was a member of Clearview Baptist Church, the Sam Poe Lodge and a Shriner. Surviving are his wife, Gladys Timmons Hatcher; a daughter, Pat Hatcher Hall; a daughter-in-law, Allyson B. Hatcher; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Larry Hatcher, and a brother L.B. Hatcher. The funeral service will be Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 1:30 pm at Clearview Baptist Church with visitation from 12:00 – 1:15 pm prior. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Clearview Baptist Church, 5611 State Park Road, Travelers Rest, SC 29690 or McCall Hospice House, 1836 W. Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680. The family is at the residence.
