Lillie Mae Hawkins

Lillie Mae Hendricks Hawkins, 91, widow of Earl Roy Hawkins, died Monday, December 17, 2007. Born in Cumming, GA, she was the daughter of the late William Abidjah and Lavinia Catherine Thornton Hendricks. Mrs. Hawkins was a retired weaver with J.P. Stevens and a member of Wesley Memorial Southern Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Jeanette Scott and husband Donald of Fountain Inn; two granddaughters, Stacie Scott of Fountain Inn and Allison Scott of Irmo; a grandson, Chad Scott and wife Janet of Fountain Inn; and three great grandchildren, Taylor Scott, Timothy Ball, Jr., and Ashley Ball. Memorials may be made to Rocky Creek Baptist Church, 1801 Woodruff Rd., Greenville, SC 29607. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 19, 2007 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will be held Thursday, December 20, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. in the Downtown Chapel. Burial will follow at Graceland West Cemetery.
