Lily May Jordan

Lily May Jordan, 73, wife of the late Reverend Harold Lee Jordan, entered Heaven?s gates peacefully at her daughter?s home in Metter, GA., under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice on January 1, 2008. She was a loving mother and grandmother and was a faithful woman of God. Surviving are five children, David Medlin and his wife, Annette, of Pelzer, Susan Zes and her husband, John, of Metter, GA., Tommy Jordan and his wife, Lynn, of Pickens, Dene Carlisle and her husband, Chuck, of Simpsonville, Judy Hester and her husband, Robert, of Taylors; eighteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. The family will be at the home of Judy Hester, 756 Tanner Road, Taylors. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 3, 2008 from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will be held Friday, January 4, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Hosanna Christian Fellowship, 209 St. Mark Road, Greer. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens. Honorary pallbearers will be, Sammy Atkinson, Danny Bell, Brian Garrison, Don Murphy, James Lee Price, Randy Stonell, Wess Davidson and Jason Mendoza.
