Linda Jean McCombs Fridal Solo, 64, of 6 Clemson Avenue, died Wednesday, October 10, 2007. Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Russell McCombs and Maude Bernice Walker McCombs and wife of the late Frank Solo. Mrs. Solo was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Pamela Denise Williams of Greenville and Tanya Toni LeAnne Fridal of Laurens; two brothers, Lindsey Dean McCombs of Greenville and Joseph Harold McCombs of Columbia; and a granddaughter, Nevaeh Kensleigh Fridal. The time has come for you to go home and be with your mother. A memorial service will be held Monday at 1:30 pm at New Hope Baptist Church. Burial will be at a later date.
