Lizzie Cleo Evans

Lizzie Cleo Evans, 78, of Greenville, died Saturday, April 08, 2006. Mrs. Evans was the wife of James Evans, Sr. and the daughter of the late Thomas and Lizzie Fuller Evans. She was employed with the Greenville County School District. Mrs. Evans was of the Methodist faith. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, James Evans, Jr. and his wife Saralyn; two sisters, Betty Creswell of Clinton, SC, and Linda Tharp of N. Myrtle Beach, SC; and one grandson, Jay Evans. She was predeceased by a brother, Melvin Hooper. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 10, 2006 at Greenville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 1:30 ? 2:15 p.m. on Monday at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown.
