Louise G Attaway

Louise G. Attaway, 78, widow of Charles M. Attaway, Jr., died Sunday, September 30, 2007 at her residence. Born in Rock Hill, she was the daughter of the late Henry H. and Lula Mitchell Giles. Mrs. Attaway was formerly employed with Van Lott, Inc. She was a loving mother who will never be forgotten by her children, Charles M. Attaway, III Chuck and his wife, Candace, and Diane Henderson and her husband, Michael. Her grandchildren, Carreen and Christopher Attaway and Mike and Dawn Henderson, have cherished memories of special times spent at MaMa?s house. The encouragement that she gave them will always be appreciated and remembered. The superb meals that she prepared for her family were her pride and joy, and these special family times will always be treasured. Mrs. Attaway was a member of Bethuel Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Rock Springs Baptist Church Building Fund, 212 Dayton School Road, Easley, SC 29642. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown, with the Reverend Dr. David Gallamore officiating. Visitation will be held prior from 12:00 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
