Louise Walker Landrum, 77, wife of the late Bill J. Landrum, died Thursday, July 10, 2008. Born in Monroe, NC, she was a daughter of the late Sidney and Gladys Holt Walker. Mrs. Landrum was retired from Furman University, attended Limestone College, and a member of St. James Episcopal Church. She was also very active with the local Cub and Boy Scouts organizations. Surviving is a daughter, Kathryn L. Shepard and her husband, Jerry; sons, William Landrum and his wife, Valli, Lee Landrum and his wife, Dawn; a sister Sara Spencer; seven grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and former daughter-in-law, Margaret W. Landrum. The funeral service will be Saturday, July 12, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Episcopal Church, Greenville. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Greenville Memorial Gardens, Piedmont. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Boy Scouts of America, Troop 282, 1 Park Plaza, Greenville, SC 29607. The family would like to thank the Greer Kidney Center and Palmetto Ambulance Service for their loving and compassionate care to Louise during this time. The family will be at the residence.
