Luther Frank Babb

Luther Frank Babb, 89, died Friday, June 6, 2008. Born in Pickens County, he was the husband of Ann Pressley Babb and the son of the late Thomas Ozell and Georgia Alice Scott Babb. He was a US Army veteran of WWII and he retired from Milliken after 34 years. He attended Westview Baptist Church. He is also survived by his daughter, Judy Smith and her husband, Dennis; two sons, Robert Babb and his wife, Theresa, and David T. Babb; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Sara Martin. He was predeceased by a son, Kenneth S. Babb. Funeral service will be at 3:00 pm, Sunday, June 8, 2008 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, with burial in Graceland West Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 – 3:00 pm Sunday, prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Open Arms Hospice, 414 Pettigru, Greenville, SC 29601. The family will be at the residence.
