Lylton Harbin Patterson

Lylton Harbin Patterson, 85, formerly of 109 Fairlawn Circle, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at Beverly Health Care in Hendersonville, NC. Born in Pacolet Mills, SC , she was the daughter of the late Henry Mose and Bessie Sudduth Harbin. She was a Department Manager for 25 years with Belk-Simpson at the Lewis Plaza and Easley stores. She was of the Methodist faith. Surviving are four sons, William F. ?Billy? Patterson, Jr. and his wife Mary of Acworth, GA; Kenneth E. ?Gene? Patterson and his wife Miriam of Greenville; Donald C. ?Don? Patterson and his wife Charlene of Greenville; Mark G. Patterson and his wife Betty of Taylors; nine grandchildren; and twenty-two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Patterson was preceded in death by her stepfather, Rev. Homer S. Compton; and four brothers, Clarence, James, Fuller and Charles Harbin. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 8, 2006 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 9, 2006 at 10:30 am in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in the Graceland West Cemetery. The family will be at the home of Gene and Miriam Patterson, 10 S. Franklin Road, Greenville, 29609.
