Madaline K. Zucchi

Madaline K. Zucchi, 85, wife of the late Walter D. Zucchi, died July 13, 2008 at St. Francis Memorial Hospital. Born in Greenville, Mrs. Zucchi was the daughter of the late Robert C. and Mary Fowler King. She is survived by ten children, Bobby Harbert and his wife, Barbara, of Marietta; Dan Zucchi and his wife, Bonnie, of Dacusville; Carol Roberts and her husband, Ralph, of Travelers Rest; Jean Zucchi, of Greenville; Ricky Zucchi and his wife, Ann, of Conestee; Ruth Taylor of Chickamauga, GA; Pam Greene of Hastings FL; Vickie Lightle and her husband, Tommy, of Greer; Charles Zucchi of Greenville; and Starr Moore and her husband, John, of Landrum. She is also survived by her sisters Elizabeth Holloway of Greenville and Mildred Elrod of Martin, GA; 22 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence Harbert; her son, Tony Zucchi; grandson Shaun Zucchi; and three brothers and one sister. Visitation will be held Monday, July 14, 2008 from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at Thomas McAfee Dowtown Chapel. Services will be led by Reverend Elvis Taylor and Reverend Fred Pittmann. Burial will follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the home of Bobby Harbert in Marietta.
