Marcelle Ophelia Garrett

Marcelle Ophelia Garrett, 85, of Greenville, passed away Friday, September 24, 2021.

Born in Woodruff, she was the daughter of the late Cleveland and Corrie Crow.

Mrs. Garrett was a member of Agnew Road Baptist Church.

She is survived by her two children, Larry Garrett (Tracey), and Wanda Davis (Larry); five grandchildren, Robin Pittman (John), Chad Davis, Richard Garrett, Nikia Garrett, Charlee Bagwell (Zack); granddaughter-in-law, Mandy Davis; five great-grandchildren that were her world and gave her great joy, Mekayla Davis, Mckynzie Davis; Brayden Pittman, Haiven Pittman and Cole Bagwell.

Mrs. Garrett was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roy Garrett and a grandson, Shane Davis.

A visitation will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest followed by the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
