Margaret Ann Sweeney Doran, 91, widow of Thomas Doran, died Sunday, July 6, 2008. A native of Lincoln, NE, she was the daughter of the late Richard Clare and Mary Catherine Blockwitz Sweeney. Marge was a kind and gentle woman, quick-witted and had a playful nature. She was raised in and married into large families. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. A loving wife and mother, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Patty and Gilles Einstein of Greenville; a son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Cynthia Doran of Dallas, TX; three grandchildren, Julie Einstein, Alexandra Einstein, and Nick Doran; a sister, Clarece of Atascadero, CA. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Doran, Jr.; two brothers and one sister. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615. The family will receive friends in The Parish Hall at Prince of Peace Catholic Church on Thursday, July 10, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. The Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary with inurnment in Remembrance Chapel Mausoleum in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Following the inurnment, the family will be at the daughter's residence.
