Margaret Craig Boone

Margaret Craig Boone, 81, formerly of Sterling House, Greer, died Friday, March 14, 2008 at McCall Hospice House. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Luther and Addie Abercrombie Craig and widow of Albert Eugene Boone. Prior to her retirement, she was employed with JP Stevens. Surviving are one daughter, Wanda Boone Link; two grandchildren, Melissa M. Stallcup and husband Travis and Amanda Blanton; and two great-grandchildren, Jenna Grace and Hailey Anne Stallcup. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James M. and Wallace C. Craig. Visitation will be held Sunday from 4:00 pm until 5:30 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The Funeral Service will be held Monday at 1:30 pm in the Downtown Chapel, with interment following in Graceland West Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Open Arms Hospice, 1836 W. Georgia Rd., Simpsonville, SC 29680. The family is at 110 Pecan Hill Dr., Simpsonville.
