Margaret Regina Cosgrove Downs, 101, widow of Alfred Norman Downs, died Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at National Health Care, Mauldin. Born in Baltimore, MD., she was the daughter of the late John Patrick and Catherine Kruger Cosgrove. Mrs. Downs was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church, Greenville. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, William Alfred and Mary Downs of Venice, FL.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Catherine and Daniel Dekowski of Sykesville, MD., Patricia and John Becker of Greenville, SC.; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the charity of one?s choice. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 1, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Sykesville, MD 21784. Burial will be in New Cathedral Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.
