Maria Nelly Uribe Ruiz

Maria Nelly Uribe Ruiz, 82, widow of Luis Carlos Ruiz, died Thursday, November 15, 2007. Born in Colombia, South America, she was a daughter of Julio and Eloisa Pineda Uribe. Surviving are three daughters, Ana Rosalba Ruiz, Martha Nelly Ruiz, and Maria Mariela Ruiz, all of Greenville; seven sons, Dario, Humberto, Carlos Mario, G. Adolfo, Jairo and Francisco Javier Ruiz, all of Greenville, and Fabio Leon Ruiz of Colombia, South America; a sister, Elsy Uribe of Colombia, South America; nineteen grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Luis Enrique Ruiz. The funeral service will be held Saturday 1:00 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The family will be at their respective homes.
