Dearest Cathy and Dean. I send you both and your families my deepest sympathy and love. Your mother and Dad were by far two of the finest, most lovable friends Walt and I knew in Massillon, including the Pococks! Debbie Wright texted me your Mom,s lovely and beautifully written obituary. I am sure you will miss her sweet, loving, kind presence but also cherish so many wonderful memories. She was a great example of what a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend should be! I am now 88 years young (?), live with a fine gentleman whose son married Jill Bucher from Massillon and was my dentist there for many years! We are in an active retirement center as independent residents and in fair health. Al’s son and wife visit us once a week, and my youngest daughter and husband, Chris and Mark, invite us to their cottage on Turkeyfoot Lake often and keep in touch on a regular basis. I have 3 married grandchildren who have blessed me with 21 great grandchildren! Dean, My middle daughter, Kathy Sorg Lauber, lived on Lake Norman for years. She has two daughters who live very near you in Mooresville. One is the mother of triplets (3 years old) and two elementary school aged children. They live in Waxhaw. Their names are Will and Jessica Weathersbee. The other daughter (Jennifer Lauber and marriage partner, Felicia Tift Lauber) lives in Huntersville, NC. They are in their 30’s and we’re raised mostly in Dover, Ohio, but their Dad was a Massillon Tiger football player and Captain during his Senior Year. His father was Tom Lauber, former President of the biggest bank in Massillon! I will share a funny memory with you in a letter very soon. Go forward, living the life your parents exemplified. Hugs, Mrs.Sorg. (Ginger)

Cathy, I was saddened to hear about your mother's passing. She was a wonderful friend to my mother, Dot Marshall for many years while they were healthy and living in Greenville. I enjoyed our last few visits with your mother while my mother was living at Rolling Green. I am sending prayers out to you and your family. Tricia Brown
