Marie DiCaprio Cox

Marie Cox, 87, wife of Francis James Cox, died Sunday, December 30, 2007 at St. Francis, Eastside. Born in New York, she was the daughter of the late Incenzio and Mary DiCaprio. Mrs. Cox was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Lantana, FL. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two daughters and sons-in-law, Pat and David McCrady of Greer, Betty and Gene Starr of Greer; four grandchildren, Stephanie Fenwick of Wellington, FL., April Starr of Greer, Michael McCrady of Boynton Beach, FL, Jason Starr and his wife, Abbey, of Greer; five great grandchildren, Nicholas, Garrett and Ryan Fenwick, Cameron and Isabella Sands; and a step granddaughter, Adryana Sands. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer?s Association, Upstate SC Chapter, 301 University Ridge, Suite 5000, Greenville, SC 29601. The Vigil service will be held Friday, January 4, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown with visitation to follow until 8:30 p.m.
