Mark Allen Phillips, 49, of 5 Buxton Court, died Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at his residence. Born in Frankfurt, Germany, he was the son of the late Franklin Glenn Phillips, Jr. and Helen Faye Chastain Phillips. Mr. Phillips was employed with Wayne Newton Painting and a member of New Jerusalem City of Truth. Surviving are a sister and brother-in-law, Jill and Jerry Crook of Easley; two brothers and a sister-in-law, William Dale Phillips of Simpsonville, Barry and Rhonda Phillips of Charlotte, N.C.; one niece and four nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 6, 2007 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will be held Friday, December 7, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. in the downtown chapel. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
