Mark Theodore Freeman, 55, of 206 East Dorchester Blvd., died Sunday, August 31, 2008. Born in Greenville County, he was a son of Charles T. and JoAnn Nelson Freeman of Greenville. Mr. Freeman earned his Bachelors and Masters degrees from Furman University and was a member of Dunean Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Flannery Freeman, of Greenville; a son, Daniel Freeman, of Greenville; two sisters, Cindy Gaines of Snellville, GA, and Beth Knott of Swansea; a brother, Marty Freeman, of Greenville; and former wife, Debbie Armstrong Freeman. Visitation will be Thursday, September 4, 2008 from 6:30 – 8:00 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. A graveside service will be Friday, September 5, 2008 at 12:00 pm at Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family is at the residence.
