Marshall Sherrell Grigg

Marshall Sherrell Grigg, 57, of 505 Yadkin Place, died Monday, February 26, 2007 at his residence. Born in Polk County, NC, he was a son of the late Clarence Grigg and Maudie Howard McSwain. Marshall was a builder and carpenter by trade and was a member of Truth Missionary Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Sherry Staton Grigg, of the home; a daughter, Misty Staton, of Greenville; three sons, Phillip Grigg and wife Heather of Columbus, NC, Mitchell Grigg and wife Julie of Columbus, NC, and Bradley Staton and wife Erin of Winston-Salem, NC; seven sisters, Joyce Morrow, Martha Thompson, Faye Howell, Kay Warner, Louella Kuykendall, Sandra Culbreth, and Darlene McFarland; three brothers, C.E. ?Gene? Grigg, David Grigg, and Dennis Grigg; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 ? 8:00 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Services will be Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Truth Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, West. The family is at the home of Rev. Sammy and Ann Kay, 200 Saluda Dam Road, Greenville.
