Martha Brown Avra

Martha Francis Brown Avra, 83, wife of Loren Avra, died Saturday, June 5, 2004, at National Health Care in Mauldin. Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Wade and Lillian Smith Brown. She had been an Accountant with Oil Equipment Sales and Service, and was a member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, she is also survived by a grandson and his wife, Scott and Wanda Forrester of Simpsonville; a great grandson, Loren Earle Forrester of Simpsonville; a great-great grandson, James Chadwick Forrester; and two sisters: Mabel Ayers of Simpsonville and Sara Brown of Fountain Inn. She was preceded in death by a daughter and a grandson: Helon Patricia Forrester and Brian Anthony Forrester. Graveside service: 12 Noon on Friday, June 11, 2004 at Graceland East Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown.
