Sorry I was slow to learn of Martha Jo's passing. Although I was only in contact with her for a few short years, she remained one of my all-time favorite people. Sh was a role model of a Christian woman and a great friend and encourager. Her whole family was great and my heart goes out to them in their deep loss. Love, David Davenport Coronado, CA

Martha Jo was my aunt but I always loved her like a big sister. As a little boy I watched her grow up from high school to college to a wonderful family of her own with the love of her life, Don. She was always so kind and loving to people, just like her mother, Mammy. I will miss you every day, Martha. I love you and your beautiful family.

We’ve thanked God for the example of the Buck family. Don and Martha Jo beautifully and meaningfully demonstrated a biblical Christian marriage. Their love for each other, their children, grandchildren, church and community was apparent. I’m grateful to have been on the receiving end of Martha Jo’s hospitality, tenderness, and words of wisdom. Our hearts are saddened as our thoughts and prayers are with Martha Jo’s friends and family.
